Termites sign to Sink & Stove

We are pleased to announce that May 2012 will see Sink & Stove release the debut self-titled album from Bristol’s Termites. The album will be preceded by a single in February. In the meantime visit Sink & Stove’s Soundcloud to download a free mp3 of ‘Ammo’, a track that’s been getting alot of airplay thanks to Tom Robinson of BBC 6music, and find out more about the band here.

Return of The Vibration

New York band The Vibration released two records on Sink & Stove before disbanding in 2008. But we are pleased to announce that the group have reformed and will return in 2012.

Their first release, the “Ear to the Ground” EP sold-out in the US and was re-released in the UK. The song “Sweet Oil” hit the top spots of various college radio stations around the country. “Sweet Oil” was one of the few songs included on a SPIN magazine radio compilation and later appeared on a split seven-inch with Mirah (K Records.)

Debut album “Amarilla” garnered much press attention and the band was featured in CMJ Monthly, BUST Magazine, Playgirl, Venus Zine, Rhythm Magazine (UK), Rocksound, Punk Planet and many others.

The Vibration have shared stages with The Decemberists, Rilo Kiley, Mirah, The Blow, Aloha, The Seconds, Sky Larkin and Tilly and The Wall.
