Keep it Peel today; here’s a TV grab of the great man wearing an early Sink & Stove t-shirt.
Sink & Stove are pleased to announce that The Hope Trust have signed to Sink & Stove Music Publishing. The Hope Trust makes thinkers’ rock in Denton, Texas. Channeling a blend of Americana, timeless pop, and rock ‘n’ roll that hooks lovers of Neil Finn (Crowded House), Wilco, and The Wallflowers, frontman Kelly Upshaw pens songs that steadily unfold, leading captive listeners through a field of sonic space. With his brother Michael on pedal steel and guitar, bassist Andy Odom, Jeremy Buller on keyboards and guitar and Grady Don Sandlin joining the core members on drums, the result is a high-energy show that’s cerebral but accessible. The band released the excellent ‘Light Can’t Escape’ album earlier this year and more material is currently being recorded. Further informtion can be found at http://thehopetrust.bandcamp.com and http://www.facebook.com/thehopetrust.

Expect further news soon! And a minor but significant footnote to all that, Sink & Stove celebrates it’s 10th birthday this year!
